How In-Home Care Works

NDIS Plan: If in-home supports are needed and deemed ‘reasonable and necessary’, they are included in a participant’s NDIS plan with allocated funding.
Service Provider: The participant chooses a registered NDIS provider specializing in in-home care.
Personalized Care Plan: The provider and participant work collaboratively to create a detailed care plan outlining specific supports to be delivered, frequency, and times.

Benefits of In-Home Care under NDIS

Maintaining Independence at Home: Allows individuals to live in their own home with tailored assistance.
Flexibility: Support is customized to the individual’s specific needs and goals.
Increased Choice and Control: Participants have a strong say in selecting their provider and how their support is delivered.
