SDA Vacancies โ€” Salisbury East SA 5109

Two SDA-enrolled rooms are vacant now, in a brand-new home that has never been tenanted. A purpose-built single-storey accessible house in Adelaide’s northern suburbs, enrolled as Specialist Disability Accommodation in the Fully Accessible design category. It was designed for wheelchair use rather than adapted for it: a flat driveway to a level entry, a hallway wide enough to turn in, hard flooring throughout, and wide door openings to every room.

Brand new and never tenanted โ€” built for wheelchair use from the ground up rather than modified afterwards.

How SDA and daily support work together

SDA funding covers the home itself. Day-to-day support is funded separately, usually through Supported Independent Living (SIL). You can move in and keep your existing support provider, or Morang Community Care can deliver both โ€” SIL supports are already in place on site.

Co-tenant matching

Because both places are open, there is a genuine opportunity to match housemates on compatibility, support needs and daily routines โ€” rather than filling a single vacancy around an existing tenancy. Participants moving in together are welcome to enquire as a pair.
